Destination Wedding – Switzerland Welcome Diner Cruise – Yvoire

C&B live in Los Angeles and we chose Switzerland where C.’s parents welcomed the guests in a beautiful house near Geneva. I was lucky to be chosen by the couple who found me through Instagram. As a destination wedding photographer, I’m lucky enough to come to Switzerland very, very often where I’m starting to have my own habits and haunts

The first event was a White Nights Friday night boat to Yvoire. Guests walked from the hotels to the Jardin Anglais (Geneva – Switzerland) and embark on the boat to Yvoire for dinner.

From Geneva, it is possible to make a nice cruise on the lake of Geneva. During this welcome dinner, our boat took the direction of Yvoire, a superb medieval village dating from the beginning of the 14th century.

Located on the French shore of Lake Geneva, between Geneva and Evian, the village of Yvoire is nicknamed the pearl of the lake.

Destination Wedding at Geneva – Switzerland – Wedding Day

With my second shooter, we have been working together for over 10 years. We both have an identical approach, fashion portraiture with an editorial style, our ability to work quickly, efficiently, with discretion. This allows us to be very flexible and adapt easily. I think this is a very important quality in the wedding photography business. At a destination wedding we feel it is very important to capture the atmosphere of the place. The bride and groom didn’t ask us to do this, but in the morning we took the initiative to visit Geneva and take a ride on the Ferris wheel to capture some images for the reportage.

We had the chance to meet our groom in one of the most prestigious palace of Geneva, the Four Seasons hotel des Bergues. Luxury hotel in the heart of Geneva and on the lake. Iconic and unmissable. The wedding suite was located in the family home in Meinier. The ceremony took place in the small Chapel of Choulex. Our couple arrived in a beautiful old car and left in a carriage.

9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen, a white and olive green theme, American celebrities from Hollywood, famous models… A dream wedding with the American class in the heart of Europe
